Hey there and welcome! I have a booth at an antique mall where I sell home and kitchen accessories from the 1940’s, ’50’s and ’60’s.  Or, in the words of my former stepfather-in-law, “She just keeps paying good money for crazy old junk.”  Well…bless his heart, yes. And now it can be your junk! Apron Strings Vintage is located in Booth 194 inside GasLamp Too Antique Mall, 128 Powell Place, Nashville TN, 37204…come up & see me sometime.
This blog is mostly about that, but sometimes it is about me.  I live in Nashville in a 1934s-era house with my awesome husband, my 7-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son and my two terrible Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Love to read your latest… “Southern Sisters” hold Estate/Moving Sale all over Middle Tenn…Our prices are fair and we do like to bargain but we have to follow the rules as set forth by our folks who hire us to do their estate or moving sale…We always love a good bargain ourself & have collected antiques since early childhood. We were born in Nashville, Tn. and LOVE TENNESSEE HISTORY…… Sister, Sandra & Brenda………

I’ve recently started collecting vintage pyrex but have had no success around Nashville. I’m very excited to see your page and can’t wait to check out your booth!

I can’t believe I found your blog. We are at 3005 Lakeshore. Strange happening. We still have that wonderful stove and a few other pieces that we are looking for ways to sell. I was reading about rental booths primarily for my jewelry and knitted items, but was looking at other areas that might let me have a combination. Anyone, hope all is well with you. Laura, Bill, and Sue were the best. We were really pleased with the whole experience except for Stanley!!! What can I say???

Hi Linda! You guys were the best, and I sure did love that old stove. If I could take every cool old stove I find home and adopt ’em, I sure would! I would be like a crazy cat lady, but with stoves. Is that better or worse?
Hope you all are doing great–we really enjoyed working with you and yeah…sorry about Stanley!
