Help wanted.

help wanted
Oh, y’all. I’m coming to the conclusion that I need to either clone myself or find someone who would be willing to occasionally shop estate sales with me for Apron Strings Vintage. I need someone who is willing to line up at 7 a.m. on Thursday or Friday a.m. (yep, that’s early!) and get to the parts of the estate sale house that I can’t shop. Like, you hit the basement while I run to the kitchen? Is there anyone out there who just loves the heck out hunting up an estate sale or two? And spending someone else’s money? And then not having to find a place for any of that (totally amazing) crap in your own home?? And being done by 8:30 or so? It’s pretty much all the fun of the hunt without any of the stress of reselling. I might even pay you. A little. Under the table. I’m just kidding, IRS. (No, I’m not.) Maybe in Pyrex? Is Pyrex a viable currency? Can I get audited if I pay in Pyrex?

Seriously, I know that there are some of you out there who are thinking, “I’m so good at hunting crazy old crap that some crazy gal really ought to pay me a (nominal) fee for utilizing my mad skillz. Also, I really enjoy estate sale shopping but my house is full and my budget is tight…so this is all the fun of shopping and none of the pain.”

If you are interested, local, can throw some elbows and would consider being paid in vintage dinnerware or the spare change I keep in the console of my Jetta? Hit me up. xoxo, LaurenT
