Booth Update

9 Apr

001 Lots of super-cute drinking glass sets with matching caddies in the booth! This one is from Flea Land in Bowling Green, KY.
003 Here’s my Flea Land haul at the check-out. Two little old men worked at the counter. One of them very carefully wrapped each thing I bought in newspaper and the other one told us stories of working in radio in Nashville in “the good old days.” Flea Land is great and I recommend it if you are in Bowling Green.
002 This 1960’s bar cart is new to the booth…I picked it up at the Michael Taylor sale last week. Bar carts are THE cool thing right now, and I’m seeing them all over Pinterest. They are great for summer entertaining on the patio, or cookouts or just something different for your boring old dining room. Not that you have a boring dining room, or anything.
003 I filled this caddy with glasses from various states; I love the colors and vintage graphics. So fun! I have two Nevada glasses in there…one pink and one green. So, they apparently came in different colorways for the same state.

Tomorrow, Gas Lamp Too is having one of their Tea at Two events, where you can drop by at 2 p.m. and for $10, enjoy snacks and short talks from three local dealers. Tomorrow, one of them is talking about mid-century aluminum ware. A tray from my booth is being used in her vignette. Cute, right?004
And lastly, a new view from the back of my house. We are moving right along! 005 If you are local to Nashville, I hope that you are enjoying this spring weather as much as we are! xoxo, Lauren T
